Came across a file pre ZAAR/Food.com days with some recipes I had Photostatted obviously to try or had tried - this one we tried in March 2005 and I had commented "Very Nice Indeed", so I am now saving it here. Easy Homemade Noodles

It just takes a few minutes to make wonderful, homemade noodles. All you need is flour, egg and a pinch of salt 2 tablespoons of milk. What a tasty addition to fresh chicken soup! My grand kids love these noodles in chicken broth with shredded chicken. If you are in a hurry you can drop little chunks of the mix into boiling broth instead of rolling, cutting, and letting dry. They are more like dumplings than noodles this way. (They must be VERY small chunks because if they aren't dried first they puff up...) -- posted by CHEF GRPA

Chicasquil (Tree Spinach) Casserole With Noodles (Or Chaya)

This is from a garden forum about the Chicasquil (Cnidoscolus acontifolius) which is a form of tree spinach. It is an evergreen vegetable that grows like a bush. I learned of this plant recently from Guachipelin, Chef #2245414. I went to one of my favorite nurseries for something else and while the fellow was driving me around, he pointed this out as Tree Spinach. It wasn't until I got home that I realized it was on my want list for the yard. I am very lucky as this one does NOT have the stinging hairs that some have. -- posted by Ambervim
